Ginetta will show its support for Billy Monger during the next rounds of the TOCA season at Thruxton on the weekend of 6/7 May.
Everyone at Ginetta has been understandably affected by Billy’s accident during the final British F4 race of the weekend at Donington Park, with the 17-year-old having been a popular member of the Ginetta family since joining the Junior Championship back in 2014.
To show our support for Billy as he begins the long and difficult road to recovery, all cars competing at Thruxton will run with special #BillyWhizz windscreen decals in place.
The move has been possible with the full agreement of Simpson Race Products, sponsors of the Ginetta Junior Championship, as well as Ginetta GT5 Challenge backers, Protyre Motorsport.
A special crowdfunding page has been set up by Billy’s JHR Developments team to help with the specialist treatment that will be required to aid his recovery.
